Here's a quick rundown:
- Tuesday (today) evening there's an Arts Reception at City Hall from 5 to 7:30 p.m. to mark the city's first art exhibit, Voces Latinas. http://www.cityoffernley.org/CurrentEvents.asp?EID=517
- Wendesday at 4 p.m. there'll be a Planning Commission Subcommittee meeting at City Hall. The subcommittee has been formed to move along the city's code development update. Members include Garet Burleson, Bill Clegg, and Bert McCoy. - The Fernley Rotary Club weekly luncheon meeting is Thursday at 11:30 in the Frontier Fun Center on Main Street.
- Saturday at 5 p.m. the Fernley Chamber of Commerce presents the Annual Christmas Parade that begins at Main Street and 95-A and runs to Fernley City Hall. Kids can get free photos with Santa afterward at the main firehouse. Bring your hot chocolate and have a great time! To enter a float in the parade, call Erin at 775.575.4459.
