Monday Afternoon Accident Snarls Traffic Along Hwy. 50-A

A traffic accident shortly before 2 p.m. Monday afternoon created some delays for eastbound traffic on Hwy. 50-A at Nevada Pacific Parkway. The collision between a full size pickup truck and a sport utility vehicle caused the SUV to come to rest on its side.

Fire officials on the scene indicated that injuries to both drivers were not life threatening. The drivers, the only occupants in either vehicle, were transported to the hospital via ambulance.
